About Us

The Neurax® connector system is one of a series of medical connectors being developed by B-Link (UK) Ltd, a company specialising in prototyping and development of medical devices.

Based in West Yorkshire, the company was formed in 2002 by Alan Wagstaff, a medical engineer and Dr Philip Bickford Smith, a consultant anaesthetist.

B-Link (UK) Ltd has not only assisted in device developments for individual clinicians, but also collaborated on projects led by large medical device companies. It has also initiated and completed research projects with Leeds and Sheffield Hallam Universities.

We specialise in both development projects for small mechanical and electrical medical devices and pre- and post- market device evaluations. We have built up contacts with designers, moulders, tool-makers and electronics engineers.
