At the June 2010 meeting of the Safer Spinal Needles Working Group the Neurax range of products were given the green light having successfully passed all the tests set by the NPSA.

The evaluation programmes were thorough and comprised of both clinical and destruction tests carried out by the Surgical Materials Testing Laboratory (SMTL) and the Bath Institute of Medical Engineering (BIME).
